Server Economy

Azura SMP's economy is built around a single currency, the Azurin, and several systems that let you earn, spend and grow your wealth.

The currency: the Azurin

The Azurin is the official currency of Azura SMP. All trades, purchases and sales on the server use this currency. Every new player starts with an initial balance that they can grow through gameplay.

The Shop /shop

The Shop is the server's central store, accessible at any time via /shop. This is where you buy and sell basic resources for Azurins.

Dynamic prices. Prices change based on player activity: the more an item is sold, the lower its price drops; the more it is bought, the higher it rises. This encourages diversifying your income sources rather than focusing on a single resource.

For each item, you can buy or sell in precise quantities (x1, x16, x32, x64), or use the "Buy inventory" and "Sell inventory" buttons that automatically calculate the maximum amount you can buy or sell.

The Auction House /hdv

Accessible via /hdv or /ah, the Auction House lets players set their own prices. Perfect for rare, enchanted or custom items that the Shop does not offer.

Duration 72 hours per listing
Tax 3% taken at transaction
Active listings 5 (Novice) up to 20 (higher ranks)

If a listing is not sold within 72 hours, it expires and the item can be retrieved from the "My listings" menu. A transaction history is available to track your sales and purchases.

Player payments

You can transfer Azurins directly to another player using the payment command, without going through the Shop or Auction House. Useful for repaying a service, making a donation or organizing a private trade.

Jobs, in brief

Jobs (/jobs) are the most consistent source of income on the server. By choosing from Miner, Farmer, Fighter, Explorer and Merchant, every in-game action earns experience and Azurins, with unique item rewards at each level.

See the Jobs category for full details.

Clans, in brief

A clan has its own shared bank, funded by member deposits and usable for collective expenses. An excellent way to pool the economic resources of a group of players.

See the Clans category for full details.

The Trade Scroll lets you send an item to another player even if they are offline. Simply enter their username and place the item: they will receive it automatically at their next login.

Tips to get started

  • Sell your first resources at the Shop - the fastest way to turn your loot into Azurins.
  • Pick a job that matches your playstyle. An actively practiced job earns far more over time.
  • Watch prices before bulk selling. Dumping a huge quantity at once can crash the price.
  • Use the Auction House for rare items - enchanted or hard-to-get items sell for much more between players.
  • Join or create a clan early. The shared bank helps fund group projects much faster.
